dc.description.abstract The main objective of this project entitled “effect of renewable energy consumption to the economic Development of Rwanda" is to assess the extent to which the adoption of renewable energy sources can contribute to the country's economic development. This includes evaluating the impact of renewable energy consumption on GDP growth, job creation, investment in the energy sector, and other sectors of the economy. The project aims to provide insights into the potential benefits of renewable energy adoption, as well as the challenges and barriers that may hinder its implementation. The findings of the project can inform policy and investment decisions in the energy sector, with the aim of promoting sustainable economic development in Rwanda. In order to achieve the main objective of this project, different approaches will be used which are listed below: Analyzing the contribution of renewable energy consumption to GDP growth, job creation, and investment in the energy sector, as well as other sectors of the economy. To evaluate the environmental impact of renewable energy consumption in Rwanda, including the reduction of carbon footprint and improved public health. Examining the social implications of renewable energy adoption, such as its impact on energy access and affordability for households and communities, and its potential to contribute to poverty reduction and social development. To provide insights into the potential benefits of renewable energy adoption in Rwanda and inform policy and investment decisions in the energy sector, with the aim of promoting sustainable economic development.
