dc.description.abstract The study sought to analyze the Effect of credit management on the profitability of micro finance institutions in Rwanda. The study has the following objectives: to assess the effects of credit management on the profitability of Micro Finance institutions in Rwanda, to find out the problems faced by MFIs and to find out the indicators of profitability of MFIs in Rwanda. In order to arrive to the findings, the researcher used structured questionnaires. The population of the study was comprised of NDS staffs. These questionnaires were given to 20 individuals working in Nyagatare Development Sacco.The study obtained its data basically from primary and secondary sources. The primary sources of data employed were questionnaire, observations, while the secondary sources of data included textbooks, internet and journals. Findings revealed that NDS played a big role in profitability of micro-finance institutions in Rwanda. Hence new opportunity would be adopted by NDS in order to serve services of banking institutio en_US
