Abstract:
Individuals create organizations to accomplish specific purpose, which manly is profit maximization. To accomplish this purpose, organizations employ people who are not only supposed to perform the required work but also join the organization for the purpose of satisfying their needs. Employee’s perceived job satisfaction basically refers to positive emotional state resulting from the appraisal of one’s job or job experience. This thesis explores the relationship between perceived job satisfaction and level of salary, working conditions and relationships with co-workers of the College of Business and Economics in the University of Rwanda. The result of regression analysis show us which variables is strength of relationship the chose variables with perceived of job satisfaction and which is primary variable causes to be a perceived job satisfaction than others. Recommendations is that Managers influence the behavior of the employees towards the job. This is the reason why managers have a great impact on employee perceived job satisfaction and it is achieved through improving the factors affecting perceived job satisfaction. In regard to these factors, the following recommendations are addressed to public institutions managers in general and in particular, the College of Business and Economics at the University of Rwanda.
