dc.description.abstract The rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has opened up new avenues for improving the safety and efficiency of electrical power transmission systems. This thesis project proposes an IoT-AI Based Smart Device for Radiation monitoring and prediction of electrical power transmission lines. Radiation sensors strategically placed along the power transmission lines measure radiation levels continuously. The collected data is wirelessly transmitted using IoT connectivity to a central monitoring system. The device analyses data in real-time using AI algorithms, detecting anomalies and predicting potential risks associated with radiation levels. When abnormal radiation levels or potential hazards are detected, the system sends alerts and notifications to the appropriate personnel. A user-friendly dashboard visualizes radiation data and provides predictive insights and alerts for effective monitoring and analysis. By incorporating this device into the power transmission infrastructure, operators can proactively identify and mitigate radiation-related risks, thereby improving overall system safety and efficiency. en_US
