dc.description.abstract The main objective of this study was to assess the Integration management and the performance of Construction project in Rwanda. The study was carried out at Ruliba Karama-Nyamirambo Road project as a case study. This study followed the following specific objectives to examine the level of integration management in the Ruliba-Karama Nyamirambo Road project, to analyze the level of performance in the Ruliba-Karama Nyamirambo Road project, and to determine the relationship between the integration management and the performance of the Ruliba-Karama-Nyamirambo Road project. The study is supported by the Lean Construction and the Belbin’s Team Roles Theory. Descriptive research design was used within this study, and the study population comprised 147 employees working in Ruliba-Karama-Nyamirambo Road project. The sample size of 147 respondents was established through universal sampling technique. The researcher used primary and secondary data in this study. A closed end questionnaire was utilized. Descriptive research design using mean and standard deviation were used to interpret the collected data, while correlation analysis was utilized to assess the relationship between the variables, and multiple regression used to test hypotheses of the study. To compute and analyze the data in this study, SPSS version 27 was used. The findings showed that the respondents confirmed that the level of Integration management in the Ruliba-Karama Nyamirambo Road project is satisfactory through the analysis done on Project Charter Development as shown with the overall mean of 3.92 (Table 4.2), analysis done on Communication management with the overall mean of 3.87 (table 4.3), analysis done on Integrated Change Control with the overall mean of 3.92 (table 4.4), and analysis done on supply chain integration with the overall mean of 3.38 (table 4.5). The results of correlation analysis revealed that there is a positive strong and significant relationship between integration management and performance in RKN ROAD project, because the calculated Pearson correlation and significance level between Project Charter Development (r=0.966 and sig=0.000<0.01), Communication Management (r=0.978 and sig=0.000<0.01), Integration Change Control (r= 0.969 and sig=0.00<0.01) and supply chain Integration (r= 0.980 and sig=0.00<0.01) and performance are positive strong correlations and significant level of significance. The multiple regression analysis proved that jointly, Project Charter Development, Communication Management, Integrated Change Control and supply chain integration contribute 98.8% on the variation in performance in RKN ROAD project. On the basis of findings from the chapter, the study concluded that there is significant and positive relationship between Integration management and performance of RKN ROAD project. The study recommended the RKN ROAD project to establish a centralized data management system, invest in technology solutions, and provide adequate stakeholder training and capacity building. en_US
