dc.description.abstract The objective of the research was to find out attitudes of primary teachers towards inclusion of learners with disabilities in primary schools in Ngoma district. This study was guided by these objectives: 1. To describe attitudes of primary teachers toward inclusive education, positive or negative 2. To identify the problems primary teachers encounter in implementation of Inclusive education 3. To recommend good attitudes for a successful inclusion of children with disabilities in primary schools The research was conducted in Ngoma district especially in three sectors including Zaza, Karembo and Mugesera. The researcher used descriptive survey design to collect data where questionnaires and interview were used. In this study the target population was 107 while sampling size was 79 which were selected by using probability sampling and Cluster random sampling among them 73 were teachers while 6 were head teachers. Questionnaires were for 73 teachers while interview was for 18 teachers among those who participated in questionnaires and 6 head teachers. The research findings indicated that many teachers have negative attitudes toward inclusion of learners with disabilities in regular schools due to many factors like low skills, inadequate teaching aids and so many others. There were recommendations to Ministry of education, teachers and future researchers. en_US
